StartupIsland.ph Founders Take the Stage at GOAB 2025
At Geeks on a Beach 2025 in Cebu, StartupIsland.ph founders were given the spotlight as part of a dedicated session that put island-built startups in front of investors, enablers, and community leaders.
The curated lineup featured startups working on everything from behavior-first tools for MSMEs and govtech for youth councils, to AI-driven agriculture, women's health platforms, and regional travel and logistics solutions.
Beyond pitches on stage, the program emphasized one-on-one business matching and mentoring, giving founders practical feedback on product, go-to-market, and fundraising strategies.
The collaboration between Geeks on a Beach, DTI Region 7, and StartupIsland.ph underlined a shared thesis: founders from Cebu and the Visayas can build globally competitive companies without leaving their home communities.
