14 Startups Graduate from StartupIsland.ph Cohort 8

Fourteen early-stage startups wrapped up the StartupIsland.ph Mentoring Program Cohort 8 with a demo day and graduation held in Cebu City on May 28, 2025.

Nine of the graduating teams were based in Cebu, with others coming from Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor, plus founders who joined from Davao and Iloilo, underscoring the program's growing national reach.

During Demo Day, founders pitched to a panel of startup leaders and investors, including representatives from StellarPH, Quest Ventures, the Wadhwani Foundation, and Cebu-based founders who now back new teams.

The mentoring track combined intensive coaching, networking, and market validation support delivered in partnership with The Company and Cebuano Ventures, reinforcing Cebu's role as a hub for startup capability building.

Cohort 8's graduation highlights steady momentum in the Visayas innovation scene as more founders choose to scale meaningful, impact-oriented solutions from the region.
